NEW PLACE IN TOWN: CLUB 327 LAUNCHED WITH A BANG IN DAR ES SALAAM

Tanzania’s new premium nightlife destination has been launched over the weekend in Dar es Salaam exceeding all expectations.; Club 327 opened its doors to a capacity crowd of 327 patrons who were blown away by the state of the art sound and light system, extensive bar selection, and the three incredible VIP suites designed by Moet-Hennessy.

Prior to the official opening of the club at 11pm there was a private opening ceremony for a select group of 125 guests hosted by Moet & Chandon champagne. Guests were given a tour of the two-story club including the impeccably appointed Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, and Belvedere VIP suites.
Following the tour, Club 327 owner, Mr. Lawrence Kadri, in a short speech thanked supporters and officially declared the club open with a champagne toast provided by Moet & Chandon. Kenyan recording artist Miaia Van Lekow then treated the guests to a surprise intimate performance.
Once the 11pm hour came around, the doors opened and the party started in full force. With a guest list of who’s who in Tanzania in the building; Club 327 was transformed into a star studded spectacle literally until the Sun came up.
Speaking on the occasion of the Grand Opening, Kadri said “I am overjoyed to see the incredible reception that Club 327 has received within the community, there is now a place for people that want high value but not at high cost”.
Kadri has attempted to differentiate Club 327 not only in posh décor but also in pricing. Club 327 is built around the concept of premium clubbing at affordable pricing. “We feel that our guests should be able to come to Club 327 and enjoy this fantastic establishment without breaking the bank” added Kadri.
This may very well be welcome news to much of Dar es Salaam’s growing middle class that often find themselves priced out of premium destinations and find local bars as the only alternative.
One thing for sure that will keep the lines long at Club 327 are the Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, and Belvedere VIP suites. These suites are the first of their kind in Tanzania. They offer a very exclusive and custom environment perfectly suited for hosting a private party for friends or colleagues after a long day at the office. Each suite is fitted with 43-inch flat screen televisions connected to DSTV as well as cameras in the club, Sony Surround Sound audiosystems, DVD/USB players, fully stocked refrigerators, and in-suite restrooms.
“These suites are the perfect place to host a get together with friends or clients or to celebrate closing that big deal’ said Club 327 owner, Mr.Lawrence Kadri. Club 327 will be open 5 days a week from Tuesday through Sunday from 8pm onward. In the coming weeks Club 327 plans to also open in the afternoons for those that want a diversion from the tough Dar traffic, they will be able to stop by and grab something to eat and catch their favorite football match on the many screens throughout the club.”
